Stories, tips & tools from your solo female travel expert - October edition
Where I am now 🌍
Hey there! I’m almost late to the party this month, sending this out right at the end of October 😅 But I promise I have a good excuse… I’ve been super busy with a pretty big move to the other side of the world! 🌏✈️
I’m writing to you from Sydney 🇦🇺, my new home for the next chapter of this adventure.
After years of traveling around the world while working remotely, I felt it was time to slow down for a few months and settle somewhere that truly matches my lifestyle, a vibrant city full of energy, creativity, and opportunities.
Of course, I had my doubts at first. This move felt like a big step, but as I keep learning on this journey, sometimes the best thing we can do is to keep moving forward, trust the process, and embrace the uncertainty of the unknown. I don’t know how long I’ll be here yet, but for now, I’m enjoying every single moment and I couldn’t be happier with this decision. My only goal is to make the most of everything this incredible corner of the world has to offer… and to enjoy another summer, of course ☀️
If you’re curious about how to move here, find a job, or start a new chapter in Australia, feel free to reply to this email, I’m planning to share more about it soon!

Morning walk to Tamarama beach, Sydney, Australia
📍 Featured Destination: Northern Morocco 🇲🇦If you’re looking for some inspiration for your next adventure, Northern Morocco might surprise you. From the blue alleys of Chefchaouen to the coastal beauty of Asilah and Tangier’s artistic charm, this region is a gem for solo female travelers, authentic, full of culture, and very welcoming. 💡 I’ve just published a full guide to help you plan your trip: Northern Morocco Itinerary for Women Traveling Solo (2025 Guide) | ![]() Walking around Asilah’s streets, Morocco |
This month’s travel toolkit 🎒
📱 App I’m actually using: Meetup
A simple way to find local events, language exchanges, and interest-based meetups wherever you are. I’ve used it to meet locals, join casual walks, and find creative workshops, perfect when you want to connect beyond tourist spots and find like-minded people quickly.
🌐 Site worth bookmarking: Cultural Reads
A curated blog by another travel lover who shares books, films, and insights from cultures around the world. Perfect if you love discovering the world through stories and art.
🧳 Travel hack I swear by:
One reliable power bank (10,000–20,000 mAh) and a tiny charger with at least two USB ports save you from hunting for outlets in cafés, trains, or hotels and keep all your devices charged for photos, maps, and last-minute plans. Bonus: keep a short cable organizer so your chargers don’t turn into a mess.
✍️ Writing prompt for fellow travelers:
Think about a moment when a big change felt scary at first but turned out to be exactly what you needed. What helped you take that leap?
Always check visa options before booking your trip. | ![]() Sunset view of the city from Milk Beach, Sydney |
